Manual loading and unloading of oil drums

HGV 1 Position available

HGV 1 job role, but will be starting off in Ridged covering class 1 ,leading to full time class 1 role.

Day work

Factory hours 07:00-16:00, Drivers sometimes begin work at 05:00 when on longer runs. Once days driving is completed and truck is loaded for next working day, you don't have to stay till 16:00

Full time, 40 - 50 hours per week

Occasional Saturday mornings if truck maintenance is due but mainly fitted within the working week.

Occasional nights out when required.

Permanent
Manual loading and unloading of oil drums, will also be expected to work in the yard when returning back to unload and load up.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

- Must have good can do attitude and work ethics
- Good geographical knowledge
- A full C+E category driving license
- A UK digital tachograph card
- A valid driver CPC
- No more than 6 penalty endorsement points
- No previous DD/DR/IN convictions
- A high level of understanding both spoken and written English

Start date is 25/03/2024, due to driver retiring however may be available sooner.

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
