Harpur Ward is a 25 bedded complex needs ward. You will be providing care for mainly elderly patients with wide range of medical conditions. Due to the nature of our patient's conditions they all require complex discharge planning. There will be regular liaison with therapists, social workers and the palliative care team when necessary providing advocacy for vulnerable patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments. You will be required to rotate shifts across nights, days and weekends.
