Lunchtime Assistant

**About the role**

Join our team as a Lunchtime Assistant at Onchan Primary School, working within the Specialist Provision Centre. This role offers you the chance to become an integral part of our very exciting school, as we’re continually looking to make improvements for our children and families. Not only is this role extremely rewarding and motivating, it also allows you to support the development of pupils with complex needs over lunchtime.

A typical day in this role will involve supporting pupils before, during and after their midday meals, encouraging interaction and appropriate play. During this time they may require assistance eating and help with their use of cutlery. As well as this, you will assist with pupil’s holistic care and support their emotional wellbeing during this less structured time of the day.
