Based at Heaton Avenue Primary Academy, South Parade, Cleckheaton, We are recruiting for a highly motivated, friendly, flexible, organised person to join our Breakfast and After School Club. Experience of working in a childcare environment preferred.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist with planning and preparing quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
- Comprehensive care and safeguarding of all the children
- Assist with preparing and delivering Breakfasts and After School Club snacks ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Keeping up to date with relevant and required training
- Set up and clear away resources
- Maintain positive relationships with the children and their parents
- Monitor and maintain positive behaviour during sessions
- Undertake relevant duties as required by the Club supervisor
It is desired but not essential that you already hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service and a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12 hours) as well as having attended a relevant Safeguarding Children course.
This is an ideal position for somebody looking for an exciting, fun and fulfilling role in childcare and in return we offer a warm, safe and friendly working environment and a good rate of pay.
Breakfast Club 7.15am to 8.30am and After School Club 3pm to 5.30pm
