We are working with a manufacturing company based in Ashington in their search for a full time Purchase Ledger Clerk
This role is office based - no hybrid is offered.

The main job functions are:

- Reporting to the Financial Controller
- Management of the Purchase Ledger
- Post all purchase invoices and credit notes
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Manage and prepare supplier payment runs
- Deal with all supplier queries
- Chase short and missing supplier deliveries
- Processing all credit card and cash expenses
- Managing all credit card balance limits and transaction queries
- Produce Weekly payment runs
- Cross Functional support where required.

- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Able to instigate and manage solutions to operational problems
- Prioritise and work under pressure

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm; Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm
