Absolute Taste is a leading event catering company dedicated to the provision of high-end catering services to Formula 1, Private Jet Aviation, performance sports, high-end Domestic & International Events along with a strong presence in catering venues within retail.

**This role includes international travel as it requires attendance to the majority of F1 races throughout the F1 calendar.**

**The Role - overview**

Working as Logistics support you will provide logístical support to the William F1 trackside catering element of Absolute Taste business.

**What you’ll be doing**

You will support all stages of the event life cycle from the pre-planning stage through to post-event analysis. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**Pre-planning**
- Supply of CAD Kitchen layouts and overlays
- Implementing all policies and procedures for the BOH Team
- Submitting all freight and loading documents
- Sourcing, supply, purchasing and installation of all event heavy kitchen equipment
- Responsible for the stock control and ordering of all disposable items for the whole operation
- Liaise with William’s Logistics Manager and Absolute Taste Head of Logistics to compile hospitality layouts and Team orders for International events.
- Submit Team orders to deadlines issued by William’s..
- Compile, update and submit European load lists and ensure that they are filed for access of others.
- Submit completed International heavy equipment packing lists to Absolute Taste Head of Logistics and project leads for documenting
- Submit all race disposable and beverage orders on procurement management platform and manage stock accordingly to ensure mínimal excess’.
- Ensure all sea freight heavy equipment servicing and maintenance is planned with William’s F1 team.
- Ensure that all heavy sea freight equipment is packed correctly both before outbound and inbound shipments.
- Oversee the loading, upkeep and day to day running of the fridge trailer.

**On-site**
- Establishing and maintaining high sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
- Providing and installing sufficient operating equipment and cleaning supplies for the operation
- Taking responsibility for F&B stores and to ensure that any waste is documented.
- Document with photographs full set up at each venue for improving set up going forward
- Lead and mentor BOH ops team including AT employees & Local support
- Deliver BOH briefing including set up, H&S, wastage, BOH areas, site restrictions, de rig and Freight loading
- Ensure safe working practice and records for all heavy Machinery
- To act as a support mechanism for the Front of House team to enable them to operate at the highest possible standard
- Ensure all BOH areas are clean, tidy and safe as a working environment
- To keep freight storage area as neat and compact as possible within Williams allocated areas.

**Post Event**
- Provision of usage/wastage for Beverage consumption
- Collect & Report into the Project lead and Absolute Taste Head of Logistics at the end of each race any issues to be solved going forward
- Accurate forecasting for provision of power and water implementation and installation
- Regular updates of ETA document in correlation with that of the Project Lead
- Ensure that a pro-active approach is taken towards regular cost comparing and multiple quote assessments are routinely carried out for servicing, maintenance & equipment procurement
- Reconciliation of spend and re forecasting of budget in line with forecasting submission deadlines

**What we are looking for**

An organized and energetic individual with a methodical approach to their work and life, who has worked in a similar fast paced environment. You will be fully conversant with Food Safety and H&S requirements with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and able to work under pressure in a competitive market place and help gain market advantage.

Joining the Absolute Taste team it is important that you are a team player with an understanding of people, able to deliver results, have a ‘Can do and Will do’ attitude as well as ethical and honest.

This role is 40 hours per week off-peak but flexibility will be required during F1 Racing Season. **Personal allowance whilst working on events also available.**

**Due to the nature of the role you will be fully flexible and able to travel both in the UK and abroad frequently.
You must hold a full-clean UK driving licence.

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is preferable.
