**Audit Director Job Vacancy**

At Public Practice Recruitment Ltd we’re delighted to be working on behalf of a valued client tasked with finding an exception Audit Director in Manchester. If you are an Audit Senior Manager looking to progress to Audit Director within a highly regardedand growing accountancy firm, or you’re already working at Director level but would value a change, we’d be very pleased to chat to you on a confidential basis.

ACCA, ACA or CA qualified with considerable experience of audit, you will need to have demonstrable knowledge of leading a varied client portfolio, as well as driving business growth by seizing marketing and networking opportunities.

You will be well accustomed to overseeing the work of the audit department and be used to portfolios of clients in a range of sectors with significant associated turnovers.

You’ll also be a proven and effective leader with excellent communication skills, responsible for ensuring the workforce is supported and motivated and able to deliver to a high standard.

Technically sound with close attention to detail and a can-do attitude to problem-solving; you’ll be a self-starter who is motivated to see projects through to completion in a timely manner.

**Job Purpose**
- High level management of audit work for a large portfolio of clients as well as monitoring the WIP for the audit team.
- Working to ensure all departments are working t to deadlines and KPIs.
- Experience of working with clients to include but not limited to; SMEs, Corporate Entities, Hedge Funds, Property and Pensions.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that clients receive the benefit of all business services.
- Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients.
- Use a commercial mindset to strategically drive the firm’s offering and promote the capabilities with other team members.
- Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
- Enhanced technical expertise.
- Be a go-to advisor to address client concerns and queries.
- Nurture trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Providing appraisals, training and development for colleagues and team members.
- The implementation of automated processes to streamline the firm’s workflow and increase output and service levels.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

**Job Requirements**
- ACA, ACCA or CA qualified.
- Significant audit and generalised accountancy practice experience.
- RI status is desirable but not essential.
- Supervisory experience with a motivational and constructive approach.
