We are currently looking for an Exhibits Supervisor to join our Front Counter & Exhibit Services department.
- This is an exciting role which will undertake and oversee the day-to-day running of the exhibits store to ensure that seized property held within the store is managed in accordance with force policies and procedures.
- You will lead a team of Exhibits Management support Officers, and the provision of a comprehensive exhibits management service, across a specified area. You will ensure that daily tasks are completed, routine audits are undertaken and documented, and that property retention and disposal routes are fully compliant with force procedures.
- Your role as Exhibits Supervisor will involve ensuring your team provide a professional, customer focused streamlined exhibits management service. On a daily basis you and your team will receive, check, record, monitor, and control exhibits coming into the possession of North Yorkshire Police. As a supervisor you will be responsible for developing the staff within the team and, where appropriate, addressing their individual development/performance needs.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- The ability to undertake a significant amount of manual handling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong IT Skills.
- Great people management and customer service skills.
