As an **HEO** **Interaction Designer**, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary agile team with other digital and technical experts to deliver one or more digital services.

You will work out the best way to allow users to interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements. You will be a confident and competent designer who is able to develop designs based on evidence of userneeds and organisational outcomes.

**Responsibilities as a HEO Interaction Designer**:

- Working as part of multidisciplinary agile teams, delivering new services that meet user needs and HM Land Registry policy objectives
- Analysing and interpreting user needs and business objectives in highly complex service areas
- Developing and recommending design concepts that help re-imagine how services can be delivered end-to-end and identify potential areas of improvement
- Working with user researchers, business analysts and developers to turn concepts into user-centred services
- Supporting design workshops and designing sprints with the team, senior stakeholders and users
- Creating and rapidly iterate low and high-fidelity prototypes to test and communicate ideas with users
- Presenting work back within your agile team, and at community critique and feedback sessions
- Contributing to our design system with support from the team
- Working with the wider project team to ensure that services meet the digital service standard participating in services assessments as necessary to provide interaction design evidence to support the relevant points.

**What we are looking for in a HEO Interaction Designer**:

- A strong grounding and experience in user-centred design, from concept to final delivery.
- Knowledge of what good end-to-end public services look like and how to design in an inclusive, accessible way
- Experience in making decisions to meet user needs in the government context
- Experience in producing simple designs to solve problems
- Experience in creating static HTML and CSS prototypes. coding for different screen sizes, versioning and hosting a prototype
- Experience in working collaboratively in a dynamic agile environment with user researchers, content designers and business analysts to understand and meet user needs.
