As our QHSE Specialist you’ll be working closely with the Operations Manager, Field Service Manager, QHSE Manager and project teams. Supporting the High Voltage team concerning quality, health & safety and environmental matters. Taking ownership for the product quality, legislative compliance, safe methods of working, statutory requirements and the protection of employees, and equipment. Above all, you will require experience and expertise within the power or construction sector specifically within High Voltage. **Responsibilities**:

- Support the maintenance of QHSE Management Systems under ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 re
- Developing awareness of safety and environmental issues within all employees on site.
- Providing QHSE administration and support RAMS and safe systems of work and investigation reporting during site visits.
- Monitor and report KPI's for site in consultation with the UK QHSE Manager
- Assist with driving company programmes. Including: Cost of Poor-Quality reduction, Continuous Improvement.
- Risk assessing tasks and processes and implement appropriate control measures
- Advise on safety requirements of site works and equipment to ensure compliance with Statutory requirements, Company H&S Policy, and Planning requirements.
- Review tender and order documents for QHSE requirements and advising on the implications to the organisation.
- Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of the service provision, product and portfolio.

Your background
- Exposure to working within a culture of integration in quality, health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
- Proven experience working in a similar QHSE role
- Knowledge of HSE legislation and good practice is essential, with a formal Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH
- Knowledge of UK Regulations and CDM Regs 2015
- Comprehension of English language both spoken and in writing. Both fluent and accurate - able to communicate at all levels internally and externally
- High attention to detail
- Team player, who holds themselves accountable being ready willing to collaborate with others committed to achieve the end goal.
- Systematic, proactive approach and efficient time management
