AWE have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Internal Regulator Peer Review to join our growing team.

Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary starting at £59000 dependant on experience

We need you to have:

- Knowledge of AWE/MOD Facilities, Processes and Operations
- Understanding of both National and International Standards
- The ability to analyse and create reports
- A persuasive approach
- Experience of safety assessment/justification for radiological, chemical and/or explosive hazards
- Experience in a nuclear, high hazard and/or highly regulated industry at a technical level
- Extensive knowledge of current legislation associated with licensees operations, and the ONR/MoD licensing regime
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and engage with stakeholders at all levels
- A collegiate outlook

We would like you to have:

- Ability to undertake a range of Assessment/Analysis techniques commonly used in safety justifications
- Detailed knowledge of AWE/ Nuclear Safety Assessment policies and procedures
- Planning skills, project background
- Experience of several Domains (Management system, Front End, Project design, Commissioning, Operations, Decommissioning), gained within or outside AWE
- Knowledge of ONR, DNSR, SWAA, SWPT, Environmental Agency and HSE policy and procedures
- Media Training

Must be willing and able to obtain the necessary clearance for this role
