This Audit Director job in Stoke on Trent is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded firm at a senior level, with a chance to make a real mark on a thriving audit department.

We’re looking for a qualified senior auditor with extensive experience within practice. You’ll be a natural leader who can oversee the audit team, ensuring the highest standard of service is being provided to a significant and diverse client portfolio.

Acting with a commercial mindset, you’ll be motivated to win new business for the firm, scoping new service lines for existing clients and nurturing a network of prospects.

- Overseeing the audit department, leading an experienced team, and ensuring the highest standard of service is provided to a varied client portfolio.
- Using a commercial mindset to strategically drive the firm’s offering, nurturing a network of prospective clients.
- Supporting the Partnership team in the delivery of excellence across the whole firm.
- Building trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Confidently representing the firm at networking opportunities.
- Training audit staff, providing constructive and supportive mentorship.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

**Job Requirements**
- Qualified Auditor with extensive experience within practice.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a team, as well as securing new business.
- Supervisory experience with a motivational and constructive approach.

- Committed to delivering the highest quality service.
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
- A commercial mindset with a drive for business growth.
