**Become a Meter Reader**:

- Up to £25,000 a year with Additional Bonuses
- £10.21 per hour.
- 33p per hour of the £10.21 hourly rate of pay is an hourly, guaranteed allowance for contracted hours worked.
- 40, 42 or 45 hours a week, with flexible start / finish times between 8am & 6pm.
- Uncapped performance-related bonus.
- Potential to earn another £250 per month via an incentive scheme.
- Full uniform and PPE provided.
- 28 days' holiday per year.
- Mileage allowance at 35 pence per mile.

**What you need**:

- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points, (Fuel allowance is provided.)
- Access to your own car which will need business insurance.
- Some previous Customer Service experience.
- 5 years' checkable history including a clear criminal record to pass the screening and vetting standards.
- Happy to work in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit: expect to walk up to 8 miles per day, be climbing stairs and crouching in tight spaces.
- Computer literacy: you will use a hand-held device to manage your work schedule.

**Duties**:

- Retrieving data from domestic Gas and Electric Meters.
- EV Charge Point Surveys.
- Always adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.

**Training**:

- Full training is provided, so experience is not necessary, although would be a benefit. Training is 1 week and will be both classroom-based and field-based with an experienced meter reader, so you get to see the job through a professional's eyes.
