Pig Stockperson

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our team and take on the role of a stocks person on our outdoor pig rearing site.

Predominantly, main responsibilities will include:
All aspects of pig husbandry - Examples of tasks include - Feeding, bedding, handling and medication administration, whilst ensuring pig welfare and well-being is high and standards are met at all times

Day to Day tasks including
- Daily checks of pigs
- Maintenance of unit - including repairs and keeping up the appearance of farm
- Teleporter duties
- Etc

Other duties: Tractor driving, harvest work (straw and onion carting) and workshop maintenance

Skills required:
Experience in animal husbandry (ideally pigs)

Competent teleporter operator

Workshop skills (not essential however, would be preferred)

Good physically ability

Working hours:
Normal working hours - 7:30am-4:30pm

Alternate weekend working - Mornings only

Harvest hours will be required July - October
