Overhead (Oh) Cabling Operative (Pia)

**Overhead (OH) Cabling Operative (PIA)**

As an **Overhead (OH) Cabling Operative **, you are responsible for installing Fibre optic cables and fibre points overhead on poles and in underground ducting.

**You will help by**:

- Having experience working with Fibre Optics products.
- Attending sites to carry out overhead and underground fibre cabling.
- Splicing of fibres(desirable)
- Working at heights and in the UG network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation.
- Working as an individual and as a part of team to achieve targets and KPI’s.

**You will need**:

- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative to a minimum of Unit 2.
- Hold or have held Openreach safety, overhead and underground cabling accreditation modules.
- Have extensive experience of working on the Openreach network.
- Be confident with working at heights.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have exposure to risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
