Guillotine Operator

Opus Vitae are currently searching for a Guillotine Operator for a prestigious business based in Wem. If you're the kind of person who enjoys working in a busy machine shop creating bespoke intricate one off products with your skills then you've come to the right place

**What you could be doing...**
- Reading, interpreting and working to engineering drawings with mínimal supervision
- Working on one off pieces as well as small batch work
- Working in accordance with the companies health and safety procedures
- Using a guillotine to create fantastic fabrications

**What you have been doing...**
- Operating a guillotine in a machine shop environment
- Using a 5 tonne gantry crane, license preferable but training will be given
- Using specialist measuring equipment
- Working effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in a clean and orderly manner
- Following engineering drawings to make fantastic fabrications

Opus Vitae is a recruitment agency recruiting for this full time, permanent position as a **Guillotine Operator** with a Steel Fabrication and Engineering company in Wem.

**Working Hours - **This is a full time position, with working hours from 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday.

**Starting Salary -** £25,000 - 28,000 depending on experience and skill level

Overtime is available and would be expected when required.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wem, Shropshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Guillotine: 2 years (preferred)
