Carpenter Joiner

A 6 months+ opportunity for a **Carpenter** has arisen with the local authorities in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

The job purpose is to carry out routine carpentry repairs, installation and maintenance of fixtures, fitments and fittings in customers' homes and elsewhere in accordance with prescribed work schedules, good building practice and Sovereign's establishedstandard procedures set for delivery of exceptional customer service.

Carry out all forms of planned and responsive carpentry. Identify the extent and scope of the reported defect/s, rectify in order to meet work schedules or alternatively seek the appropriate authorisation for suitable remedial action to occur.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Carpentry Certification NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
- Experience in Carpentry role in similar environment.
- Great communication and customer service skills.

Hours of work are 8am till 4pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
