**JOB & BENEFITS SUMMARY**

**The role can include but is not limited to**:

- A contracts manager is sometimes in charge of a single scheme, or may look after several smaller ones. At all times, they are the first point of contact for members of the public, clients, site managers and sub-contractors for as long as the contract lasts across South East, London and surrounding areas
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients through regular meetings and inspections
- Arrange regular meetings with clients
- Managing and motivating a team of staff over multiple sites
- Obtaining cost information (estimating data, quotations etc.)
- Visiting Sites to assist in completion of tender documents
- Ensure Health & Safety and compliance across the contract
- Further Quantity Surveying duties
- Assist the GAH team to coordinate the preparation of detailed tender documents to include all relevant information to ensure responses can be assessed in a comparative way. Help provide pretender cost information to inform the client and stakeholders prior to tender submission.
- Communicate in a confident manner in line with established policies practices and priorities of the company and its clients. Take responsibility for sharing and encouraging positive changes and best practice across the wider GAH Team.

Your role may involve interaction with School staff and students, and so you will be required to have Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance before you can commence working at G A Harper.

The position is full time, 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
