We're recruiting for a Quality and Teaching Excellence Administrator for a higher education client of ours based in Newcastle City Centre.

Hybrid working model: 2 days on campus, 3 days working from home, 37 hours per week. £11.46 per hour + holiday pay.

Your main duties in the role:

- Provide administrative support, including preparation of agendas and minutes for meetings
- Provide support for related events and activities including preparation of documentation and co-ordinating arrangements for events and activities
- Maintain records of related events / activities in a form that is suitable for internal and external audit purposes and for management reporting
- Support relevant colleagues in preparing relevant committee papers and following up and monitoring actions and priorities arising
- Maintain relevant databases and inter
- and intra
- net sites within Quality and Teaching Excellence
- Provide administrative support for senior colleagues within Quality and Teaching Excellence
- Provide additional support to other areas of Academic Registry at key times in the academic calendar
- Liaise effectively with other teams within Academic Registry, other Services and Faculties

Person Specification:

- Friendly, confident and excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in an Administrative role
- Experience in minute taking & document preparation
- Ability to work with colleagues across multiple departments
- Working in an education institution and have knowledge of quality assurance and enhancement processes and requirements would be advantageous but not essential
