**Credit Controller - Sheffield - £23,000- £24,500**

**Credit Controller Responsibilities**:

- Work punctually and deliver results on time in line with colleague and client needs
- Look over and assess the ways in which services can be implemented
- The ability to look over existing services and assess areas improvement can be made
- Ability to implement credit policies
- Liaison with external and internal parties to ensure the payment of invoices
- Handling client queries escalating these queries to higher management as required
- Follow and process bad debt

**What we’re looking for**:

- Knowledge of a legal billing system would be advantageous
- Experience of using Microsoft word and excel
- Computer literate - with the ability to type quickly and accurately
- Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers
- Analytical skills to look at issues in a clear and logical manner
- Flexible and able to think in abstract terms to solving issues
- Someone who is passionate about their role and who will work well with the team
- Ability to work to time constraints and manage workflow
- Ability to work accurately
- Previous knowledge of account management

**It would be advantageous if you**:

- Have worked in a credit control position inside of a legal firm
- Experience of working with high value ledgers and of processing high invoice volumes

**Hours**:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday/ Hybrid working with one day a week in the office
