We’ve got an exciting opportunity for the right person to work with a mature man with Cerebral Palsy. He lives alone in the Littleport, Cambridgeshire but mum lives close by and dad visits regularly, very much close to family and younger brother. He has a tracheostomy tube which means he is unable to vocalise at all, so he uses eye gaze computer system when up during the day, and a word board if not able to access the computer.

Your role is support is to meet his medical, personal care and day-to-day assistance needs. You will work alone and as part of a team, operating on shifts to provide 24/7 care

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with all aspects of daily living
- Complex care such as PEG & tracheostomy
- Moving & handling
- Medication

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Experience with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities
- Help with Tracheostomy care
- Knowledge of PEG (not essential)
- Have an encouraging nature to support this Individual emotionally & psychologically
- Commit to keeping thorough records
- Have a pure zest for life & a caring can-do attitude
