**If so, we have an ideal opportunity for you**

As a library officer working on the Know Your Neighbourhood project you will lead on the development of events and activities which target people at risk of loneliness and isolation. You will facilitate the delivery of these events and activities, assist customers to access online information and resources and encourage use by the wider community. You will assist in gathering feedback to allow

You will:

- have strong organisational skills
- have the ability to develop an excellent service to your local community
- have a passion for developing programmes which engage vulnerable members of the community and increase pride in place
- have excellent communication and digital skills
- be able to create and maintain effective links with the community, including networking with internal and external agencies and partners
- be able to deliver a customer focused service

This is a fixed-term post, until 31 st March 2025, based in Burnley libraries. The role may require you to work evenings and weekends and at other locations and may also involve lone working. The hours are an average of 14.8 hours per week and therefore the annual salary quoted will be pro rata.
