**POSITION**:TUMI Sales Associate/Key Holder part-time (16 hours per week)**

**LOCATION**:Knightsbridge, London**

**AVAILABILITY**:Immediate

**Job Purpose**:
**Main tasks**:

- In the luxury environment, it is important to treat each client with individualized attention and to make them feel special every time they shop with us.
- Using correct verbiage such as “Premium piece” or “Elevated style” and romancing the product.
- Excellent product knowledge acquired through consistent training is required.
- Show enthusiasm for the product.
- Storytelling when appropriate, sharing the products story (i.e., Sustainability, collaborations).
- With skill and attention to detail, you will ensure that our high-quality products are presented in an inviting manner based on the TUMI Selling Ceremony.
- You will also enthusiastically support internal events, activations, and promotions.
- Open and close the store as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- Initial professional experience in the retail sector is desirable, preferably from the premium sector.
- You have a passion for selling premium products.
- Good understanding of English, additional language skills would be an advantage.
- Excellent people skills.
- A well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Demonstrate good Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Easy manner and ability to overcome client objection.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
**Customer Service/Sales**
- Elevate the service environment and make the client feel welcome during our selling ceremony.
- Ability to provide informed product recommendations through active listening.
- Ignite real desire for the product through a detailed demonstration.
- Seamless introduction of additional items from built up trust.
- Natural close of sale and build loyalty
- Easy, friendly follow-up after the sale.
- Follow-up through outreach with the Clientele app.
- Handle customer complaints and phone queries tactfully in line with Company Policy.
- Process transactions in an efficient and professional manner always adhering to Company Procedures.
- Be fully aware of TUMI after sales service, warranties and areas covered.
- Business-aware: sales figures, targets and KPIs.
- Competitor aware and market trends.

**Stock/Merchandising**
- Process deliveries and communicate any discrepancies under and over in an efficient manner.
- Ensure stockrooms and back areas are kept to a high standard.
- Awareness of store best sellers.
- Assist in layouts and maintenance of merchandising and internal displays.
- Keep up to date with window and interior layouts.
- Assist in stock counts as directed by Store Manager.

**Security**
- To ensure that any security issues are acted upon where possible and reported to Management.
- To remain vigilant when dealing with stock and monies, ensuring that Company Procedures are always adhered to.
- Attentive customer service.

**House Keeping**
- Maintain high standards at all times within the store.
- Ensure that cleaning is carried out daily, and look after all fixtures, fittings, and stock.

**Operations /Administrative Duties**
- Handle telephone enquiries in a polite, helpful and efficient manner; and ensure all messages are communicated.
- Ensure all customer enquiries/orders are communicated to Head Office in accordance with Company Procedures.
- Carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.

**Attendance**
- To report for work 10 minutes before the start of the shift in order to prepare for the scheduled start time.
- If absent or late, to contact the store at the earliest opportunity to allow for any alternative arrangements to be made.
- If employee is unable to attend work they must speak **DIRECTLY **to their Manager by TELEPHONE as soon as possible.
- Any **LOSS **of business time must be made up and discussed with manager.
- To attend training courses as directed by Store Manager, arriving at the training venue in a timely manner.
- To adhere to company attendance policy

**Appearance**
- Maintain a well-groomed, neat and tidy appearance at all times, in line with Company Dress Policy.

**Health & Safety**
- Ensure that any accidents or potential dangers to staff or customers are acted upon where possible and reported to Management.
- Be knowledgeable of Health and Safety Manual and fire safety procedures of managing agent within store.

**Additional Responsibilities**
To perform duties of a similar nature as required and directed by Management.

**Skills required**:
Previous experience in retail.

Excellent people skills.

Team player and motivator.

Target driven.

Brand sensibility

Good command of English

Flexibility.

Productive during downtime.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to withstand constant standing, bending, and frequent lifting of luggage, up to 15kg per item. (Adhere to manual lifting procedure.)

Computer literate.
