**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the President and Vice-Chancellor’s Office as the Personal Assistant to the University’s new Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Professor Henrietta O’Connor will take up the role of Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor from 1 August 2023 and we are looking to appoint a highly organised, motivated, and proactive individual to support her as her personal assistant. You will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Provost and DVC’s portfolio, supporting them across the whole range of their responsibilities.

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the President & Vice-Chancellor, you will also be a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and the Executive Support Group. You will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of colleagues’ workloads and priorities and help ensure that the office provides a continuous and seamless service at all times.

**About you**:
You will possess the high standard of professional performance required to represent senior members of University staff, and the communication skills necessary to work with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.
