Assistant to Harbour Master

Here at P&O we continue to grow our business and brand as the go to travel supergiant and we are looking for an Assistant to Harbour Master to join us. With 2 new state of the art ships joining our fleet in 2023 and the support of our DP World family there has never been a better time to join our organisation.

As an Assistant to the Harbour Master, you will support in areas such as the administration involved in the management of navigational safety in the ports of Larne and Cairnryan.

**Location: Larne**

**What does it involve?**
- Assisting with the efficient and effective maintenance and updating of the Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Larne and Cairnryan
- Assist with the reviewing of marine risk assessments.
- Assist in the review and audit of the SMS & Operations Manual
- Support the Harbour Master with all marine emergencies including oil spill response.

**About you**:

- Have a broad understanding of the activities of the business with emphasis relating to Marine and Port Operations
- MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Teams
- Confident and able to work accurately with numbers.
- A self-motivated person with a bright and positive attitude
