We are a rapidly growing contractor working primarily for Housing Associations and Local Authorities. We have been trading for over 40 years and are amongst the first-choice service providers for quality focused clients in the North-West. We focus on winning long-term contracts that provide consistent, dependable, well-paid jobs for our workforce and deliver all work in-house to ensure we maintain the high-quality end product we pride ourselves on.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our busy Adaptations team working on long term contracts (4 years +) in the North West

The role primarily involves:

- Managing contracts and providing advice to the team on technical solutions
- Working with the back-office team to coordinate activity
- Quantifying completed work and undertaking project handovers
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications, statutory regulations, current standards and Company quality procedures
- Encourage a proactive health and safety culture
- Determine priorities and operational requirements in order to meet defined project objectives
- Plan and schedule work to ensure it is carried out within contract specifications
- Oversee management of each site
- Manage and develop the team
- Coordinate recruitment activities
- Proactive approach towards health and safety
- Excellent attention to detail being passionate about the quality and finish of your work
- Continuous-improvement and solution-orientated approach
- Good inter-personal skills, demonstrating professional standards of behaviour at all times on-site and off-site
- Good organisational skills
- Team player; flexible, approachable and supportive
- Enjoy working in a variety of environments
- Possess strong IT skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be passionate about the quality of your work
- Proficient in multi-tasking
- Hold a full, clean Driving Licence
