**What we are looking for**:
Mindful Chef sells millions of meals every year to a loyal and engaged customer base. Customers continue to come back to us because of the quality and taste of our healthy recipes.

Whilst we ensure speed & ease are a key part of our menu strategy, it is essential for us to make sure all the recipes going out have been properly tested to ensure they are 100% food safe. We are therefore looking for a junior chef or quality assurance specialist to help us validate our proteins and recipe cooking times over the next 3 months.

**You are**:

- Passionate about Mindful Chef and healthy food
- A confident home-cook or chef with a background in food science and quality assurance
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment alongside our chef team
- Thorough and pragmatic with excellent attention to detail
- A team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

**You will**:

- Instructions Validation: Validate our cooking instructions across our ingredient portfolio across a number of different cooking methods
- Cooking Time and Temperature: Verifies that cooking times and temperatures are appropriate for the ingredients used in the recipe
- Recipe Method: Optimise our cooking instructions to give the customer the best cooking experience, providing quick and easy to follow instructions
- Ensures that the instructions provided for each protein and recipes are clear and accurate. This includes checking for any missing steps or ambiguous directions.
