Psychology Graduate

Supply Teach are looking for psychology graduate teaching assistants for a multiple SEN schools in Derby and Derbyshire offering full and part time role starting in September for the new academic year.

We are particularly interested in those who are looking towards a career as an SEN Teacher, Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist. You will have the opportunity to support young people with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs and work alongside qualified Counsellors, Therapists, Teachers which will enable you to build your career.

For those interested in Teaching in particular teacher training options can be discussed so that the school can support your journey to gaining your QTS.

**The Opportunity**:

- Psychology Graduate teaching Assistants
- Aspiring educational or clinical psychologists/ SEN Teachers
- 1:1 & Small Group work
- Derby and Derbyshire
- Full-time role - Monday - Friday
- September start
- £410 - £450 per week

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
- Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
- Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
- Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
- Working alongside other professionals to assess children
- Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
