Chiller Operative

Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Chiller Operative to join our manufacturing team at our plant in Billingham.

**The Role**

Working as part of a shift team, you will be responsible for offloading bulk liquid raw materials and make up trace ingredient batches which meet requirements for the continuous fermentation of Quorn product.

Your role will involve the constant operation of vacuum chillers and other associated plant equipment, working towards key performance objectives relating to volume and quality.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Ability to operate to a high level of efficiency against precise targets
- Excellent written communication skills in order to satisfy ISO 9001
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to achieve effective liaison with contractors, health and safety staff, and quality control
- Ability to maintain concentration at irregular times of day and perform repetitive tasks to a high standard of compliance
- Present manual handling techniques in order to complete numerous process and maintenance tasks
