A Food Manufacturing company based in the Evesham area are looking for a Maintenance Engineers to join their fast-paced manufacturing team to fit in with their shift pattern. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth runningof the production line and facility by conducting and carrying out regular routine and reactive maintenance. You will work closely with the production and engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the clients' manufacturingprocesses.

As a Maintenance Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Responding to reactive machinery breakdowns quickly and efficiently and ensure regular routine preventative maintenance is carried out.
- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to the Shift Supervisor and Manager and work with the operations department to minimise plant disruption.
- Identifying root causes and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns from occurring.
- Participate in mechanical and electrical projects.
- Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety and environmental guidelines reporting any issues.
- Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plant downtime and minimise downtime by following a good engineering practice.

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with the following.
- Experienced working within a fast-paced environment ideally within Food and Drink/FMCG manufacturing.
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Previous exposure to mechanical processes and assemblies including electrical or welding/fabrication experience.
- An understanding of PLC's, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Flexible to fit in with the shift pattern.
- IEE 17th or 18th edition desirable.
