**About the role**
**Fleet Supervisor**
As THE OUT grows, so does our fleet and operational teams in London. We are looking for people who want to be part of a fast growing start up, working with premium cars, managing the Fleet team, and assisting in the daily running of our busy Operations department.
**Role Purpose**
Being part of the Operations Team, the Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for managing our fleet of cars and deliver a service in line with our business values. The Fleet Supervisor will help to improve vehicle appearance, minimise the damage costs, will help to improve and scale operations at THE OUT while ensuring the day-to-day business is running efficiently and smoothly.
**Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Work with the Operations Manager to develop strategies for improved cost efficiency
- Responsible for supporting the development of global opportunities
- Manage the fleet team made up of fleet Assistants and Fleet Coordinators
- Manage a fleet of 200+ cars
- Bring in new ideas and anticipate future threats and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver operational priorities in line with overall business goal
- Manage vehicle infleeting and defleeting
- Observe and monitor cleanliness of vehicles both inside and outside
- Approve vehicle repairs
- Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimise downtime
- Ensure that the fleet of vehicles is operating in accordance with legislation
- Maintain accurate and detailed vehicle damage records
- Ensure all security measures are in place to prevent vehicle theft
- Manage third party supplier performance
- Build strong relationships with drivers to ensure quality of delivery and driver retention
**Requirements**:
- Is at least 25 years old to meet our insurance requirements
- Has a desire and passion to coach and develop the team
- Is passionate and knowledgeable about cars
- Has a passion to provide exceptional customer service with the confidence to lead from the front
- Understands vehicle repair techniques
- Has previous experience as vehicle damage estimator or similar
- Is a natural team player - always reliable, displaying genuine commitment to the business, communicates openly and with confidence, respects others
- Has excellent organisational skills to cope with a fast-changing environment and multiple concurrent tasks
- Is able to work under pressure, has positive attitude and drive to meet goals
- Is flexible to work on weekends
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Ownership of a full clean GB or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months
- Previous experience in fleet management
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment - no two days will be the same and ability to think on your feet is very important
- General supervisory or managerial experience
- Solid writing skills to produce clear and effective documentation and reports
