**Person Profile - Poolside Assistant**

Our business is totally dependent upon our customers having the best experience possible when bringing their babies and school aged children to our classes.

Commitment, loyalty and the ability to create a good rapport with carers (usually mothers and fathers), and small children are all absolutely essential.

Customer care is foremost, as well as a **clean, smart appearance**. You also need a **pleasant** and **outgoing personality** as we would expect you to be able to anticipate and respond to your customers’ needs.

You need to be **mentally alert** with good vision and hearing (contact lenses, glasses and hearing aids are acceptable so long as you are comfortable and safe wearing them for long periods of time, poolside).

We would expect you to work as part of a team at all times. You need **excellent communication skills**, particularly verbal, to ensure you maintain excellent relationships with both your customers and the wider Puddle Ducks team.

**The Poolside Assistant must have the following qualifications/experience**:
1. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
2. It is imperative that you have a clean Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check
3. Computer literate (for printing and updating registers)
4. It would also be an advantage if you had experience of working or living with young children.
6. Minimum 16 years of age.
