**Funeral Operative**

**Arnold Funeral Service** is a family owned and managed business with branches in High Wycombe, Flackwell Heath, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Marlow and Slough. With our experience spanning six generations, it is our aim to provide a caring service at a difficult time.

We are looking to hire a professional and empathetic individual to join our team as a Funeral Operative who is committed to making a difference to the clients we help.

**Main duties include but are not limited to;**
- **The driving of company vehicles and ensuring their cleanliness at all times**:

- **Conveying the deceased into our care**:

- **Care of the deceased within our premises**:

- **Participating in funeral services as pallbearer or chauffeur**:

- **On Call (out of hours) rota (one week every four to five weeks)**:

- **Attend sudden deaths on behalf of HM Coroners**

**The successful applicant must;**
- **Be presentable and punctual**:

- **Have a good level of physical fitness as this role does involve heavy lifting duties**:

- **Be able to work to strict deadlines**:

- **Have a good attention to detail**:

- **Have a full manual UK driving licence.**

Basic full time working hours will be 40 hours a week working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes break based at our Flackwell Heath Head Office. A degree of flexibility on these hours will be required but will be remunerated.

**Competitive Salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum offered based on experience and qualifications + on-call ancillary payments**

**20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays increasing after 2 years’ service**

**Pension Scheme**

**Qualify for Private Health Care after 2 years’ service.**

**Full Uniform provided**

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
