Year 2 Teacher - Birmingham - Good School - Long Term
Your new company
You will be working in an infant school situated in Birmingham which has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas. The children behave well and work hard, they are polite, sensible and respectful.
Your new role
This full-time teaching role requires you to work in a Year 2 class, the school are looking for someone who is energetic, keen and able to take on the duty of a full class teacher, including planning, preparing and assessing the ability of the children in yourclass. Your new school is extremely supportive and has a friendly, enthusiastic and committed team who are looking for a KS1 teacher to join them. The school are happy for both experienced teachers and ECTs and will look into supporting the ECT induction programme.
This role is a long-term role, to commence in January 2023 and has arisen due to a maternity cover.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified teacher (QTS) and have experience of working in Key Stage 1. You will have the ability to build an excellent rapport with pupils, staff, parents and carers. You must have a good understanding of the National Curriculum, haveexperience in assessing pupils' progress and be adaptable. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.
In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references and you must be available until at least the end of this academic year.
