**Job title**: L&D Business Partner

**Contract**: Full Time and Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

**Location**: Home based working with travel to Reed offices a few times a month for training

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

**Your new role**

The L&D Business Partner's primary responsibility is to own, shape and implement the learning and development provision for the Reed Network (Core, Education, Tech, Further Education, Health & Care). This mainly consists of Recruitment Consultants amongstother roles. You will support the delivery of the L&D strategy; to enable new and existing co-members (Reed employees) to reach their full potential, both personally and professionally, through the design and development of new and existing training programmesand the facilitation of engaging and interactive training.

You will deliver online, video based and 1-2-1 training sessions for mainly new starters into the business. These are pre-designed courses that run across several months aimed at developing fully skilled recruiters. You will also work alongside the businessto scope out and design new training opportunities, and work on projects to help upskill existing Co-Members.

**What you’ll be doing**

Activities:

- Work closely with key stakeholders across the Network, understanding their strategy and

ways of working
- Work with the L&D SLT to communicate the L&D strategy and upcoming learning

interventions with key stakeholders across the Network, welcoming input, and feedback

where appropriate
- Partner with key stakeholders to determine measurable performance gaps, defined in

terms of skill, knowledge and/or motivation
- Feed any discovery work into the L&D SLT (specifically L&D managers and Director of

Learning & Development)
- Provide targeted solutions, recommendations, and enhancements to learning pathways
- Investigate, research, design, and proof best practice content, based on strategic and

business needs
- Work in partnership with co-members across L&D to develop relevant learning

Interventions, which are blended
- Ensure that the agreed learning interventions are delivered in a timely, cost-effective

manner (this may be through the L&D team, managers within the Network, or through

external partners)
- Gather feedback from all co-members in the Network to identify trends and support

continuous development
- Where possible, ensure that delivery is virtual and ensure that any in person delivery is

justified and signed off by both Director of L&D and MD of each respective Network

business
- Support and challenge co-members before, during and after training sessions
- Work with key stakeholders in L&D to ensure that all learning interventions are measured
- Define and deliver an evaluation strategy, which reports on the impact of our L&D

interventions
- Provide regular updates to both the L&D manager and Director of Learning & Development
