**Plant Administrator/Hire Controller**
**Role**:
- To administer the transactional processing of the Plant & Transport department; ensuring all the plant transactions are entered into the plant and accounting systems and the business heads receive the various periodic reports in an accurate and timely manner.
**Specific Tasks include but not restricted to.**
- Raising Orders
- Processing on/off hire requests
- Process delivery/return tickets
- Checking/processing External Invoices
- Scheduling service/Mots
- Producing Various reports
- Vehicle tracking system
- Plant Utilisation reports
- Driver Mileage Reports
- Damage/Maintenance Reports
- Other reports as requested
- Producing Reporting Pack for the Plant Meetings
- Organizing Stocktakes
- Other Plant Office duties as required
**Person Requirements**
**Essential**:
- Previous experience in an office environment.
- Experience in updating and working with a recognised Plant/Accounting system.
- Experience in producing plant management reports.
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft office 365, especially Excel and Word.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willing to learn and progress.
**Desirable**
Experience of working in a plant department of a construction company.
- Understanding of the workings around the financial elements of a plant department including
- Plant Profit & Loss Accounts
- Fixed Assets Registers
- Depreciation
- Managing plant Hire rates
**Qualifications**
- Studying or willing to study AAT or similar would be an advantage.
**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Greenford (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Greenford: Relocate before starting work (required)
