Group Management Accountant
Key responsibilities
1. Assist the team with delivery of Internal based reporting activities:

- Consolidated monthly management accounts and associated materials
- Annual budget, three-year plan and any in-year reforecast
- Monitoring of KPIs and reporting on drivers of change
- Lender and other external stakeholder material
- Ad hoc analysis as required to support strategic objectives of the CFO
- Modelling financial impact of group wide projects
- Materials for FLT
- Support of firm wide M&A and other Corporate Finance activity
2. Support for financial accounting and external reporting activities
3. Establish strong links with divisional finance teams
4. Support group wide change initiatives as required
5. Explore opportunities to deliver using outsourcing and digital transformation to increase offering
6. Support and collegiate responsibility for tax, corporate finance and treasury
Key accountabilities (what you are measured on)
1. Effective delivery of monthly management accounts and other reporting (lender presentations)
2. Timely and effective delivery of the annual budget and any reforecast and Medium Term Plan as required
3. Development of improved monitoring and reporting on performance management
4. Effective delivery of ad hoc responsibilities
Key competencies (knowledge, experience and abilities)
1. Thorough knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS and relevant UK law
2. Experience with reporting systems (OneStream and Unit4 GL knowledge desirable)
3. Strong organisational and communication skills and ownership of outputs and deliverables
4. Advanced MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis
5. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment and Group structure
6. Ability to work under pressure with a solutions orientated approach
7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor and coach team members
Professional qualifications
- Big 4 experience will be ideal
- University graduate - 2:1 or higher
