**WELDER / FITTER**

A recognized market leader within the engineering sector has an opening for a Welder/ Fitter to join their organisation based in the Cookstown area. They are well known for their knowledge in bespoke engineering solutions and provide a complete turnkey package.

**The Role**
- As a Welder/ Fitter you'll be joining a close knit engineering team and be responsible for the manufacture of sheet metal and steel products for their clients
- Onsite fitting, loading van with tools and work ready for fitting the following day
- Working with stainless steel and mild steel.
- Fitting staircases, balustrade, handrails, railings and gates

**Brief Description**
- Experienced Welder / Fitter to work as part of a small team

Working within in a fabrication support team to produce a wide range of fabricated and welded structures to meet project deadlines
- Fabrication and welding of sheet metalwork, structural frames, jigs, fixtures and mould tools of different sizes and materials.
- Working from either product drawings and design specifications or to own innovative
- Welding to high coded standards, and help with diagnosing, trouble shooting and solving welding problems that enhance through put within the work team.
- Ability to work to company procedure requirements
- To fabricate items in mild steel, including marking out setting up and welding.

**Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Training**

Required:

- City & Guilds or N/SVQ Level 3
- Good general standard of education
- Must be time served

- Cookstown: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
