Hatchery Operative

The Best Connection are currently seeking **Hatchery Operatives** / **Production Operatives** to be part of a special team in a Hatchery near **Thirsk**.

The positions are to start mid August for approximately 3 months. Immediate interviews available.
- Experience working with livestock is preferable, however **full training** will be given.
- You will have the ability to be flexible with working hours and work in a team environment.
- Must have own transport due to location.

The role Includes:

- Assisting in the effective movement of eggs from storage to incubating machines and then to hatching machines.
- Ensuring young Turkeys are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery.
- Cleaning all areas and equipment after use to the required high standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Strictly following Health & Safety and Bird Welfare legislative standard.
- Adhering to security and site safety rules whilst wearing the correct PPE

Hours of work:

- 38 Core hours

Pay Rates:

- £12.50 per hour basic rate for first 38 hours worked
- £18.75 per hour overtime after first 38 core hours worked
