**About us**

Britton and Robson Pharmacy is a busy community Pharmacy in Willington.

We have a vacancy for the right person to join our team and we are looking for a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant to work full time.

**Duties**:

- Assist customers at the counter with their queries and provide excellent customer service
- Sale and supply of medicines in line with regulations.
- Receiving and handing out prescriptions, dealing with queries, processing pre-payment certificates.
- Stock management, ordering, checking off orders.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Participate in NHS England audits, mandatory training and promote healthy living and provide relevant advice.

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in duties.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment under own initiative and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, and adhere to data and confidentiality regulations.

**Salary**: Up to £10.52 per hour
