**Job Role: Mechanical Engineer - Pressure Systems**

**Location: Chelmsford**

**Package: £45k basic & overtime, £4250 car allowance or car, 12% pension, 25 days holiday, bonus, clear training to become an Engineering Surveyor from a "Top UK Employer"**

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to come and work as a Mechanical Surveyor for a top Engineering company, one that will invest 10's of thousands into your career development in the first year alone and who also offer constant training and furtheropportunities to its employees.

This job will further your mechanical knowledge and enhance your skills around testing and inspection of pressure systems so is a perfect opportunity if you are wanting a slightly different career focus.

The role will be field based work and Mechanical Surveyors will be expected to test and inspect different pressure systems day to day - making sure everything is working correctly.

This will also be a much more varied role as you will be visiting a variety of locations such as marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants and airports

**Your background**:
We're open to the person here, but we are looking for a HNC level educated professional with experience of maintaining and servicing pressure systems (so pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, piping, air receivers and heat exchangers etc.)

We don't expect you to hit the ground running either and training will be anything up to 6 months and our client invests a lot of time and money into training their staff and providing them with the tools to succeed.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is keen to learn new skills and use previous mechanical knowledge to develop a further knowledge in a career focused role.
