Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Land Site Characterisation (LSC) Personnel Coordinator to join Fugro in Wallingford, working within the Operations - Personnel Resources side of the business.

As an the LSC Personnel Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a first-class personnel logistics service for the Service Lines within the Company ensuring that there is an efficient process in where highly skilled crew are transported safely with all the correct skills, certification, visas and documentation, in line with Company policies and procedures. The role of an LSC Personnel Coordinator is varied and offers the opportunity to be involved in and communicate with key stakeholders of the business.

Who you’ll be working with:
Within this role you will be the focal point and responsive customer service provider for the Company’s Services Lines and both onshore and offshore personnel. You will work closely with Operations Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure forward planning of crew requirements for projects and competent coordination of crews for these projects in a timely matter.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work together with Operation Supervisors, Project Managers and personnel line managers in the forward planning of crews and when required crew selection;
- Source personnel from third party providers if required;
- Liaise with staff regarding crew changes, next project trips etc, assist with any queries from staff as required;
- Arrange travel and accommodation with the operations team for crew changes and general personnel movements
- Ensure that all certification and required documentation for project work are obtained and up-to-date prior to mobilisation;
- Ensure immunisations and work permits / visas are in place and appropriate for the country where operations are taking place;
- Maintain tracking system for all staff using Geoplanner.
- Track and check purchase orders and invoices for Fugro Operating Companies and external suppliers.
- Attend operations meetings as required;
- Participate in out of hours rota.
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate different projects at the same time and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and react to short notice changes to suit operational requirements with the ability to problem solve.
- Be able to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring client requirements are met.
- Disciplined and self-motivated individual who has the adaptability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team and as an individual.
- Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
