Service Administrator

**We are looking for an experienced Service Administrator to work as part of Community South - Peer Support Service.**
Part-time role - 15 hours per week - Homebased

The Community & Outreach SMI Physical Health Support Service will expand on the existing work begun by the Peer Connections service, in regards to support and outreach to communities to; promote and improve understanding of SMI Physical Health Checks, Monitor and improve patient experiences and increase direct support to people with SMI to access Physical Health Checks and take actions once their check has taken place.
The shared ambition for the Somerset Mental Health Alliance, Open Mental Health, is to ensure that people living with mental illness get the right support at the right time. As well as reducing waiting times for clinical services, it aims to ensure that people can live a full life in their community, accessing housing, jobs or volunteering opportunities, community activities and physical exercise, to help support and improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
**Essential experience required for this role**:
- Experience managing data sets and relational databases
- Experience of handling calls which need to be dealt with empathetically and sensitively
- Experience of working collaboratively with external stakeholders to improve collaborative working efforts
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of confidentiality and duty of candour
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
- IT/computer qualification is desirable e.g ECDL, RSA 111, CLAIT or equivalent experimental learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
