We are looking for an experienced Transport Admin Clerk to join our growing Transport and Warehousing business
- based in our new modern premises in South Kirby.

The role reports into our Transport Planning Manager and is office
- based on a 08:00- 16:00 shift. We are offering a competitive salary banding of between £21,500- £25,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Key Requirements of the Role
- To assist in delivering an effective and efficient transport administration service.
- To undertake general duties that support the Operations team, i.e. answering the phone to our customers and drivers, allocating work and updating the online platforms of our key customers.
- Perform a daily driver debrief and manage the associated documents (driver time sheets/ driver defect reports/ POD's etc)
- highlighting any issues that require further investigation by the management team.
- To support in the administration and invoicing of transport jobs. Making sure POD's are provided and uploaded where appropriate whilst ensuring jobs are invoiced in an organised and timely manner.
- Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function and department.

Experience required
- At least 1 year experience of working in a Transport Office.
- Experience of invoicing & billing
- SAGE experience would be an advantage.
- Be able to work on your own initiative and in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be able to communicate professionally
- in both verbal and written forms.
- PC literate and familiar with MS Office and Transport Management Systems.
- Adaptable and flexible and display a problem solving attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
