Job Description:
Genetix Research Ltd, a leading London-based biotechnology firm specializing in cutting-edge vaccines and precision medicine, is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Cell Culture Specialist to join our team. As a Cell Culture Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative vaccines, cell-based products, and therapies. Your expertise in cell culture techniques and your contribution to the advancement of our biotechnological solutions will be essential to our mission of improving healthcare and personalized medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cell Culture and Maintenance:

- Cultivate and maintain various cell lines used in vaccine development, research, and product manufacturing.
- Ensure optimal growth conditions, monitor cell health, and implement quality control protocols.

2. Bioprocess Development:

- Contribute to the design and optimization of bioprocesses for the production of stable cell lines, viral and bacterial services, and other cell-based products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cell culture and bioprocesses.

3. Research Support:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, researchers, and biotechnologists to support ongoing research projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in cell culture techniques.

4. Data Collection and Analysis:

- Collect and analyze data related to cell culture, bioprocess parameters, and product development.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive reports and documentation.

5. Laboratory Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to strict laboratory safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., cell biology, biotechnology, microbiology).
- Hands-on experience in cell culture techniques, aseptic cell handling, and bioprocess development.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis, including statistical analysis and experimental design.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety guidelines, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within the biotechnology field.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration, reporting, and problem-solving.
- Attention to detail, precision, and the ability to maintain accurate laboratory records.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
