**Skilled Fire Door Installer (Joinery Specialist)**

**We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Door Installer to join our growing team**

As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the fire safety of buildings by installing and maintaining fire doors to the highest standards. You will possess strong joinery skills and a deep understanding of fire door regulations and best practices. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, but highly rewarding as you contribute to the safety of people and property.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install new fire doors and frames, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and fire safety standards (e.g., BS EN 1634-1, BS 8214).
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing fire doors, identifying and rectifying any deficiencies.
- Prepare door openings, including cutting, trimming, and installing ironmongery.
- Fit and adjust fire door closers, intumescent strips, and other essential components.
- Carry out fire door inspections and testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Work safely and adhere to all health and safety regulations on site.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, building managers, and other stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer or Joiner (ideally 3+ years).
- A recognized joinery qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
- CSCS Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Full UK driving license.
