**Main purpose of the role & responsibilities in the business**:
As part of the Global Cloud practice, you will play a pivotal role as a Cloud Advisory Principal for Kainos Software. You will be accountable for leading the customer engagement by supporting them in solving complex business and technology problems, co-creating their transformational journey to the cloud helping develop strategies, processes and solutions that leverage world class technologies and methods.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and leverage your deep and applied knowledge across the industry, accelerating the customer journey and developing a trusted partnership for the future.

You will also guide others in the capability to support their career journeys, you too will be supported on your career journey, enabling you to achieve your ambitions.

Y**our key responsibilities will include**:

- Lead cloud strategies and outcomes
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally at a Senior level
- Act as a change agent[DMG1] to remove business, technical and political impediments
- Engage with customer stakeholders to develop cloud opportunities and solve challenges
- Lead and challenge Kainos team members and customers to create world class strategies and solutions
- Build and communicate strategies at an executive level, scene setting and managing expectations, whilst building solid relationships
- Engage with cloud vendors to keep abreast of emerging technologies to maintain creditability and impact to our customers as well as introduce new areas of innovation that will differentiate Kainos
- Map customer vision & requirements to specific cloud products and components
- Pro-actively developing business within an account with business development leads and account managers.
- Ensure that strategies & methodologies are actionable and well documented with frictionless implementation into delivery
- We are passionate about developing people - a demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing members of your team and wider community.
- Develop effective relationships with business unit heads, account leads, sales, CTO’s, SME’s and delivery managers.
- Drive Cloud revenue within the client account by influencing opportunities
- Work with Sales and Account Management team proactively to develop Cloud aligned account development plans
- Align Kainos goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving Cloud revenue targets
- Establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients that shape competitive go to market engagements, supporting bid process where appropriate
- Create/evolve our market offerings to address changing market and customer demands
- Champion the Kainos brand outside of Kainos to increase market awareness

**MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP spanning IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Experience in building Cloud transformation Business cases, helping to create a compelling vision, assessment of the organisational capability to achieve the vision creating a strategy.
- Leading customers through the technical and organisational challenges of Cloud and its transformation journey.
- Experience in pre-sales and business development, working with the sales and engineering teams to identify and generate opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills in presenting and discussing technical content with business audiences.

- Gather business requirements and imperatives
- Direct the scope and pricing of engagements to establish efficient operating models and teams.
- Understand the full end-end product cycle, from product vision/strategy, user experience design through development and release.
- Support and contribute to the practice development ensuring we create and orchestrate transformational product solutions, teams, strategic roadmaps, and continuous improvement/optimization programs.
- Drive Cloud transformation strategy projects, assessments, PoC’s and MVP’s
