Materials Handler

Quest Employment are looking for a **Materials Handler **(with a valid VNA license) to work for one of our clients based in **Banbury**

**Overview of the Role**:
**Working hours**:
3 on 3 off rotational shift, 7AM-7PM / 7PM-7AM

**Pay rate**: £12.74 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maneuver the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) equipment to transport materials, consumables, and finished goods throughout the warehouse or facility.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, or shelves using appropriate handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory by accurately recording movements of materials within the system.
- Conduct regular quality checks on materials and products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to company cleanliness standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

**Specific Skills & Experience**:

- Good communication skills - able to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work accurately with minimum supervision.
- Promoting creative problem solving and continuous improvement.
- _**Forklift truck licenses/experience is required.**_
- Previous warehousing experience is desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Possess an in date, valid RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT VNA license or certificate, or have gained an inhouse license or certificate.
