Supervisor (Farm Shop)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone passionate about food and retail to work as a Supervisor in our Farm Shop.
The post holder will ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the store, including maintaining stock, supervising staff, problem solving, upholding cleanliness and safety standards, and providing an excellent customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage invoices, delivery notes, and demand credits for shortages/breakages.
- Manage stock levels, conduct regular checks and stock takes.
- Complete operational checklists.
- Ensure all customer facing areas are visually appealing to customers.
- Deputise for the Head of Department and/or Shop Floor Manager in their absence.
- Supervise a team of Farm Shop and Gift Barn assistants providing guidance, support, and ensuring high standards of customer experience.
- Share buying responsibilities, maintaining positive supplier relationships.
- Ensure safety compliance, uphold policies and maintain 5* Food Hygiene rating.
- 1 years’ experience in a retail environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple priorities.
- Flexible approach and availability during peak periods.
- Computer literate.
**Hours of Work**
- Average of 5 days per week, on a rotating fortnightly rota.
- Between the hours of 0730 - 1730; exact hours to be discussed.
- Will include alternate weekends.
