**Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday**

We are currently seeking a MHE Trainer to join our Warehouse team at our Minworth site. As MHE Trainer you will responsible to train and refresh all warehouse colleagues on the sites MHE. This will be done to all ITSSAR/Culina group rules and regulations. You will be completing/supporting site inductions of MHE/Manual Handling and GDP training for all FTE/ Agency staff. You will ensure all training is up to date and all relevant SSoW/Briefs are signed off by our warehouse team.

**Job responsibilities of a MHE Trainer include**:

- Effectively leading the site Health & Safety culture as No1 on the agenda
- Completing/supporting site inductions of MHE/Manual Handling and GDP training for all FTE/ Agency staff.
- Providing a consistently high level of technical skills training to support the operations area through a variety of delivery methods.
- Developing a site skills matrix that enables the delivery of all MHE training and that the skill level of all MHE operators is satisfactory and ensure that refresher training is completed within specified time frames.
- Ensuring the on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, recorded work place assessments and where appropriate other training following the identification of unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents.
- Maintaining a proactive approach to ensure continual reduction in risk from MHE operations and where appropriate developing learning from experience briefings to prevent further occurrence.
- Assisting in the creation of Safe System of Works and suitable and sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities.
- Liaising with Operational management to ensure that all site training requirements are covered across all shifts.
- Participating as an active member of the wider management team and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving site safety.

**Qualifications**
As a MHE Trainer you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:

- To show good organisational skills.
- Must hold an ITSSAR MHE trainer certification.
- Must hold an articulated truck and PPT licence.
- To demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a similar training position.
- Experience in writing assessing safe systems of wok and Risk assessments.
